Does Believing in Evolution Lead to Sodomy?

Wonder why sodomy is rampant in our country? Thank Darwin.

Have you ever wondered why our society has become such a debauched and depraved cesspool?  If you haven’t, it’s probably time for some introspection and an appointment with the optometrist.  The answer was written for us by the apostle Paul in the book of Romans nearly 2000 years ago.  This is a case of history repeating itself and as George Santayana famously wrote: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”.

In Romans 1:20-27, Paul goes through a chain of events that started with people who knew God through His revelation in creation (Rom 1:20-21), but yet glorified him not as God, neither were thankful, and their foolish hearts were darkened (Rom 1:21).  While professing themselves to be wise, they became fools (Rom 1:22) and changed God’s glory into images of men and animals (Rom 1:23) and then worshipped them more than God (Rom 1:25).  Because of this, God gave them up unto vile affections and they became sodomites (or euphemistically, homosexuals) and men went after men and women after women (Rom 1:26-27).  You see, this is God’s judgment on a people who reject him and become idolaters and worship the creation rather than the Creator — God pulls back His restraints and allows them go against the very nature which they worship.

Now you say, “Yeah, but that can’t be what has happened to us; the vast majority of our nation are not idolaters and stump worshippers.”  Are you sure?  There was a time 100 years ago, or even 50 years ago, that most people in this country believed that God created the universe, and even though they were not all Christians, they at least acknowledged that God was the Creator.  Then the theory of macroevolution became popularized and heavily taught in the schools and many people began to believe that the universe was billions of years old and that Man was the product of random chance and mutations which happened over vast amounts of time, beginning as an ameba and ending up as a human being: you know, the “goo to you” theory.

Simultaneously, as we began to stop glorifying God as the Creator, we became the most affluent people on the planet and ceased to be thankful (Rom 1:21).  We professed ourselves to be wise, coming up with a foolish “Big Bang” theory which attempted to explain away the existence of God, and in the process became fools (Rom 1:22), believing that nothing produced everything.  We changed the glory of God and his creative genius into the image of a stupid looking ape-man evolving from pond scum (Rom 1:23), and worshipped the creature and the absurd theory of evolution which supposedly created it (Rom 1:25).  Then God gave us over to uncleanness to dishonor our bodies between ourselves which was the beginning of the sexual revolution (Rom 1:24).  Because God’s word condemned fornication, we then “changed the truth of God into a lie” (Rom 1:25) and wrote new versions of the Bible, taking away the references to fornication and replacing them with the nebulous, ambiguous, and meaningless words “sexual immorality”, and we continued to worship and serve the creature more than the Creator (Rom 1:25).

For this cause, God gave us up unto vile affections and men and women left the NATURAL use of each other and went after members of their same sex (Rom 1:26-27).  Sodomy then became accepted by society as an “alternative lifestyle” instead of being shunned and condemned for the wicked deviance that it is.

Do you now see how rejecting God as the Creator and worshipping the religions of macroevolution and secular humanism began a downward progression in this country which has ended up with a Sodom and Gomorrah society?

Musings on “The Word” in John 1:1-3

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. 3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” (Joh 1:1-3)

Faith is a Work

Faith is something that a man does and thus is a work by definition. Since eternal salvation is “not of works,” it is therefore not conditioned on faith.
