The most important thing a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ should do is obey the gospel, be baptized, and be added to a true church (Act 2:37-42) which worships God in spirit and in truth (Joh 4:23-24).
“One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.” (Psa 27:4)
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psa 84:10)
