Natural Law, Natural Rights, Inequality, and Slavery

What rights do we have, and where do they come from?

Natural Law

This sermon series on Natural Law listed below examines the doctrine of the Natural Law which claims that mankind has certain moral laws written in his mind which he knows by nature.

These sermons make a solid Biblical case that only the regenerate man has God’s law written on his heart, and that the only reason that others appear to is because they have been conditioned by a Christian-influenced culture.

Natural Rights

The sermon below on Natural Rights shows that natural rights are negative rights such as the right to life, liberty, and property which God has given to men through His law.

These rights are inalienable and are not granted, nor can they be taken away, by governments. However, they can be revoked by God the giver of them because of sin.

Natural Rights

Inequality

The sermon series below gives a Biblical perspective on the topic of Inequality.

Economic and social equality is an unattainable goal, and those that push for it are either ignorant or evil.

There are a few areas in which all men should be equal.

  • All people should be treated equally before the law.
  • All people should be equally not aggressed upon.
  • All people should be free to pursue their goals as long as they don’t aggress upon others

Slavery

The sermon series below on Slavery addresses what the Bible teaches about Slavery including when it is permitted and when it is forbidden.
