I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. PASS

  1. Rev 21:6 (KJV) – And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
  2. Rev 21:6 (NWT) – And he said to me: “They have come to pass! I am the Alʹpha and the O·meʹga, the beginning and the end. To anyone thirsting I will give from the spring of the water of life free. PASS
  3. Rev 21:6 (NIV) – He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. PASS

vii.  Rev 22:13 (KJV) – I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

viii.Rev 22:13 (NWT) – I am the Alʹpha and the O·meʹga, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. PASS

  1. Rev 22:13 (NIV) – I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. PASS
  2. Jehovah God is the first and the last (Isa 44:6-8; Isa 48:12).
  3. Isa 44:6,8 (KJV) – 6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. 8) Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
  4. Isa 44:6,8 (NWT) – 6) This is what Jehovah says, The King of Israel and his Repurchaser, Jehovah of armies: ‘I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me. 8) Do not be in dread, And do not become paralyzed with fear. Have I not told each of you beforehand and declared it? You are my witnesses. Is there any God but me? No, there is no other Rock; I know of none.’” PASS (Upholds the Trinity (by accident, no doubt), although it does replace “God” with “Rock”)

iii.    Isa 44:6,8 (NIV) – 6) “This is what the LORD says — Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God. 8) Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.”  FAIL (passes by showing that God is the first and the last, but fails because it removes the reference to the Trinity by putting the King and Redeemer together, and replaces “God” with “Rock”)

  1. Isa 48:12 (KJV) – Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

  1. Therefore, Jesus is God.
