Why Trump Lost and Biden Won
- It appears that Joe Biden has won the 2020 presidential election.
- Some of you may be sad, concerned, mad, or even scared at this prospect.
- I want to give you a Biblical perspective on this situation.
- Why did Donald Trump lose the election?
- There are many explanations, such as:
- Voter fraud
- Mail-in ballots
- Media bias
- Social media censorship
- Coronavirus scamdemic
- These could be some of the means by which the Lord turned the results of the election, but they are not the reason for it.
- One major reason why Trump lost is that he is an exceedingly proud man.
- God hates pride (Pro 8:13).
- Pride goes before destruction (Pro 16:18).
- Before destruction the heart of man is haughty (Pro 18:12).
- A man’s pride shall bring him low (Pro 29:23).
- God resisteth the proud (Jam 4:6).
- God abases the proud (Luk 14:11).
- Therefore, it is no wonder why God would cause or allow Trump to lose.
- Donald Trump exhibited the characteristics of a fool such as:
- He did not control his tongue (Pro 17:27-28).
- He uttered all his mind on Twitter (Pro 29:11).
- A fool is known by his multitude of words (Ecc 5:3).
- Fools can’t hold in what they’re thinking (Pro 14:33).
- He did not rule in the fear of God (2Sa 23:3; Exo 18:21).
- President Trump has publicly used the Lord’s name in vain at least twice.
- Speaking about a rich business man he had spoken to recently, President Trump said the following.
- “I said, you know, you don’t like me and I don’t like you, I never have liked you and you never have liked me; but you’re gonna support me because you’re a rich guy, and if you don’t support me, you’re gonna to be so God damn poor, you’re not gonna believe it. (audience cheers)” (Trump Tells Businessman: You’re Going to Vote for Me or You’re Going to be So Goddam Poor, YouTube, Greenville, NC, 7-17-2019)
- This is not the speech of a man who fears God.
- At the same rally President Trump again used the Lord’s name in vain when referring to bombing ISIS militants.
- “They’ll be hit so God damn hard,” (FULL RALLY: President Trump Rally in Greenville, North Carolina, YouTube – 1:22:38, 7-17-2019)
- This is not the speech of a man who fears God.
- Honor is not seemly for a fool (Pro 26:1).
- Many Christians had basically idolized Donald Trump and looked at him as their savior.
- Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of 5th avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters.” (Donald Trump BAD WORDS! Compilation, YouTube, 1-18-2018)
- God will not tolerate people having gods before Him (Exo 20:3).
- There is no savior beside God (Isa 43:11).
- Donald Trump liked being called “the king of Israel” and “the second coming of God.”
- ““Thank you to Wayne Allyn Root for the very nice words. “President Trump is the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America, he is the best President for Israel in the history of the world…and the Jewish people in Israel love him like he’s the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God…But American Jews don’t know him or like him. They don’t even know what they’re doing or saying anymore. It makes no sense! But that’s OK, if he keeps doing what he’s doing, he’s good for all Jews, Blacks, Gays, everyone. And importantly, he’s good for everyone in America who wants a job.” Wow!” (Donald J. Trump, Twitter, 8-21-2019)
- This is blasphemy!
iii. God will not give His glory to another (Isa 48:11).
- God will judge people for the idols in their heart (Eze 14:3-5).
- Donald Trump was part of our judgment.
- I believe that God will continue to judge this nation for their support of him.
iii. Listen to the Bible study series called “Should Christians Support Donald Trump?” which is found here: Trump.
III. Why did Joe Biden win the election?
- God ordains the kings of the earth (Dan 4:25).
- God normally chooses the basest of men (Dan 4:17).
- God judges people by giving them what they want as their punishment (Psa 106:14-15).
- We have a representative government which means we get who we choose.
- The vast majority of Americans support government handouts of one type or another, so it is fitting that we have a socialist for a president.
- God makes sinners to eat of the fruit of their own ways (Pro 1:29-31).
- God gives them oppressive, corrupt rulers because they deserve it (Neh 9:25-27).
- But the democrats cheated!
- Are you surprised? Are you shocked at the corruption in government?
- You shouldn’t be (Ecc 5:8; Mic 3:9-12; Mic 7:3).
- There is nothing new under the sun (Ecc 1:9).
- Are you worried, scared, or distraught at the result of this election?
- If so you have put your confidence in men, and you need to repent (Psa 146:3; Jer 17:5).
- We must trust only in God for safety (Psa 118:8-9).
- We must not fear what men can do unto us (Psa 56:3-4).
- They can only go as far as God allows them (Psa 76:10).
- The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, and He turns it wherever He wants (Pro 21:1).
- On most of the major things there is not much difference between Trump and Biden anyway.
- Here’s what I said in my video blog called “21 Reasons Why Christians Shouldn’t Vote for Joe Biden” on August 31, 2020.
“If Joe Biden becomes president, the following things will happen.
- Abortion will remain legal and millions of children will be slaughtered.
- The LGBT community will be supported by the federal government.
- Gay marriage will remain legal.
- Our gun rights will be assaulted.
- We will have a big-spending president.
- The government will run trillion dollar deficits for years and explode the national debt.
- The president will support the Federal Reserve as it inflates the money supply with trillions of dollars created out of thin air which will devalue the dollar.
- Interest rates will be at 0% and will cause malinvestments, create financial bubbles, destroy the incentive to save, and obliterate the retirements of our senior citizens.
- The government will bail out everyone with money printed out of thin air.
- Prices for everything will rise because of inflation.
- The socialist programs of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, enhanced unemployment benefits, and stimulus checks will continue.
- The country will become more socialist.
- The wars will continue and countless thousands of people will be murdered overseas.
- The US empire with its military bases in over 100 countries will continue to bankrupt us.
- The country will be locked down, businesses will be forcibly closed, and healthy people will be quarantined and forced to wear masks because of a virus.
- A COVID-19 vaccine will be fast tracked by the president, distributed by the military, and likely forced upon everyone.
- The Supreme Court will rule that the State has the right to force churches to close.
- The Supreme Court will rule that sodomites and transgender people are protected under the Civil Rights Act, and therefore Christians cannot discriminate against them when hiring.
- The government will grow at break-neck speed.
- A liar will be president.
- An immoral man will be president.
Now I know what you’re thinking…. “I’m a conservative Christian — I would never vote for someone like that.”
I agree. But do you realize that all 21 of those things are true of Trump’s current presidency?”
- Donald Trump is a socialist democrat who uses some republican rhetoric.
- Donald Trump increased the federal debt by $7.3 trillion in his 1st term.
- The federal debt was $19.9 Trillion when Trump was sworn into office on January 20, 2017 (Trump and the National Debt, The Balance, 8-1-2019).
- The Federal Debt is now over $27.2 Trillion on 11-5-2020 (org).
- And he still has 2.5 months to go before his term ends.
- This is the largest increase of the federal debt by any US president in one term in history.
- This is not just due to the Coronavirus. Trump ran trillion dollar deficits every year before the scamdemic.
- See my Bible study series called “Should Christians Support Donald Trump?” for dozens of documented examples of how Donald Trump is not a conservative and has done and said numerous things that conservatives should (and would normally) oppose: Trump.
VII. Don’t get involved in the fighting and strife about who the president should be.
- Let the potsherds strive with the potsherds of the earth (Isa 45:9).
- If you contend with fools there is nor rest (Pro 29:9).
- “Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.” (Mark Twain)
- Where strife is there is confusion and every evil work (Jam 3:16).
VIII. We should be praying that we may live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1Ti 2:1-2).
- Pray that God will control our so-called “leaders” so that they will leave us alone.
- Pray that God will provide for us and protect us in the midst chaos.
- Look at the bright side.
- It looks like the Republicans kept a majority in the Senate.
- This means that there will be gridlock in DC which is a good thing.
- The less the government can accomplish the better.
- Now that a democrat is in the White House the republicans in congress will get religion again and awake from their four year bout of amnesia and remember that they are supposed to be conservatives.
- Hopefully they will oppose big spending bills and other unconstitutional things that the democrats try to pass.
- They will be hypocrites for opposing things that they themselves supported for the last four years, but that usually doesn’t stop them.
- I think there is a high likelihood that there will be a major economic crash in the next four years.
- I could be wrong, but if I’m right, it’s better for it to happen on Biden’s watch than on Trump’s.
- That way it will hopefully be blamed on socialistic policies rather than on the free market.
- No matter who the president is, our marching orders are still the same.
- Fear God and keep His commandments (Ecc 12:13).
- Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Mat 6:33-34).
- Read more Bible and less propaganda from the media (Psa 1:1-2; Psa 119:113).
- Make reasonable preparations, and then pray for God to protect and provide for us (Pro 21:31; Php 4:19).
- Pray that the Lord will build up His church in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation (Act 2:47).
- Be ready to give an answer for the reason of the hope that is in you (1Pe 3:15).
- Let your light shine and be a good example to this world (Php 2:15).
- Keep looking up and longing for Heaven (Php 1:23).
