Transhumanism is Satanic and Antichrist

1. Transhumanism (abbreviated as H+ or h+) is an international cultural and intellectual movement with an eventual goal of fundamentally transforming the human condition by developing and making widely available technologies to greatly enhance human intellectual, physical, and psychological capacities. 2. One of the aims of transhumanism is artificially long life and even immortality.

III.   Death entered the world by sin.

            Rom 5:12 – Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

            All will die physically because of Adam’s sin.

            1Co 15:22 – For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

            To think immorality is possible in this life is to deny the effects and existence of sin.

1. Death is inescapable.

            Heb 9:27 – And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

            Ecc 8:8 – There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

1. God said 3000 years ago that man’s life is 70-80 years.

            Psa 90:10 – The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

            3000 years later with the aid of advanced technology, in the US the average person still lives under 80 years.

1. To try to attain immortality in this life is to be guilty of the sin of Lucifer and Adam and Eve who tried to be like God.

            Isa 14:12 – How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

            Isa 14:13 – For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

            Isa 14:14 – I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

            Gen 3:5 – For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

            Gen 3:6 – And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

            Transhumanism is Satanic.

VII.            Immortality is only possible by Jesus Christ taking away one’s sins, which is the source of death, and resurrecting our mortal body to an immortal one.

            1Co 15:52 – In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

            1Co 15:53 – For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

            Heb 2:14 – Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

            Heb 2:15 – And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

            2Ti 1:10 – But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

            The aim of Transhumanism is for man to accomplish what only Jesus Christ could and did accomplish.

            Transhumanism is antichrist.

VIII.         Why would anyone sane person want to live for hundreds or thousands of years in this wicked world anyway?
