The NIV Says Jesus is Lucifer

1. The King James Bible (KJV) teaches that Lucifer is Satan who fell from heaven.

            Isa 14:12 (KJV) – How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

            Isa 14:13 (KJV) – For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

            Isa 14:14 (KJV) – I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

            Isa 14:15 (KJV) – Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

            Luk 10:18 (KJV) – And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

1. The KJV teaches that Jesus is the Morning Star and the Day Star.

            Rev 22:16 (KJV) – I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

            2Pe 1:19 (KJV) – We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

III. The Non-Inspired Version (NIV) and many other modern Bible perversions teach that Jesus is Satan who fell from heaven.

            Isa 14:12 (NIV) – How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!

            Rev 22:16 (NIV) – “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

            Isa 14:12 (ESV) – “How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!

            Rev 22:16 (ESV) – “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

            NASB

            Isa 14:12 (NASB) – “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations!

            Rev 22:16 (NASB) – “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

            NLT

            Isa 14:12 (NLT) – “How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning! You have been thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nations of the world.

            Rev 22:16 (NLT) – “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright morning star.”
