  1. Joseph was the wisest man in the kingdom (Gen 41:39).
  2. Jesus is the wisdom of God (1Co 1:24) and is the wisest man to ever live (Mat 12:42 c/w 1Ki 4:29-31).
  3. Joseph was made ruler over the king’s house and kingdom (Gen 41:40-41, 43).
  4. Jesus was made ruler over God’s house (Eph 5:23) and His universe (1Ti 6:15-16).

  24. Jesus’ disciples didn’t recognize Him after His resurrection (Luk 24:15-16; 36-43).
  25. Joseph pretended to not know his brethren or their history when he met them (Gen 42:9-16).
  26. Jesus pretended to not know some of His disciples, nor the events they spoke of when He met them (Luk 24:17-20).

  33. Joseph greeted his brethren with “Peace be to you” (Gen 43:23).
  34. Jesus greeted His disciples with “Peace be unto you” (Joh 20:19).
  35. Joseph’s brethren worshiped him (Gen 43:26-28).
  36. Jesus’ disciples worshiped Him (Mat 28:9).
