1. Pro 11:25 – “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.”
- The liberal soul shall be made fat:
- Definitions
- Liberal adj. – 2. a. Free in bestowing; bountiful, generous, open-hearted.
- Soul n. – III. 12. The disembodied spirit of a (deceased) person, regarded as a separate entity, and as invested with some amount of form and personality. 13. a. A person, an individual; a living thing.
- Fat adj. – III. With reference to the amount of produce or supply. 9. Yielding or capable of yielding excellent and abundant returns. Well supplied with what is needful or desirable. a. Of a person: Affluent, wealthy.
- In other words, the man who is free in bestowing gifts to others and is bountiful, generous, and open-hearted shall be well supplied, affluent, and wealthy.
- It is the liberal (bountiful, generous) man who will be made wealthy, not the stingy, miserly man.
- He who sows bountifully will reap bountifully (2Co 9:6).

- Definitions
- Water v. – 1. a. To give a drink of water to (an animal, esp. a horse on a journey); also, to take (cattle) to the water to drink. 2. To furnish with a supply of water. a. To supply water to (a company on a journey, an army on the march).
- In other words, the man that furnishes others with needful things when they need them will be treated the same way when he needs something.
- He who gives to others will have others give to him when his time of need comes (Luk 6:38).
- When we provide for the needs of others, God will supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (1Ki 17:13-14; Php 4:14-19).
- Those who are generous with their giving, help, encouragement, prayers, and other blessings they bestow on others will find themselves blessed likewise by others and by God who sees all and rewards every man according to his works, either in this life or the next (Luk 14:14).
